good morning and happy monday!! well, my baby boy, bradley is now 2 weeks old and i feel about 60 years old--needless to say, it's a little draining taking care of a 16 month old and a new born :) and my husband and i are pretty tired, but on friday had some pictures taken of our new addition! though it was quite the experience to get everyone focused and situated according to "plan", mindy from mindy strauss life photography did a wonderful job! not only is she such a good friend, her photography is also so beautiful. so here is a peak of bradley and even a picture of me and my husband, tyler...i think this is the first time i have shown my face... :)
well, enough of that :) here is a creamsicle inspiration board:

i was so inspired by anna kuperberg images i had to share some of these fantastic wedding details she captured! i spent much to much time looking through her blog, but oh so worth it! hope you enjoy...
Singer-songwriter Sara Bareilles, in her perfectly pretty Luisa Beccaria dress on Grammy night, reminded me that Valentine's Day is this Saturday. I love the combination of pale pink and bright red. . .it's a really clean and modern way to make things feminine and romantic for I don't know, say a wedding taking place on the annual lovers' holiday.
But the realization that the big V-day is this Saturday freaked me out just a little. And that's because this year, instead of the annual trek to our absolute favorite restaurant in DC, I offered instead to cook a romantic meal at home. Yikes! I only have five days to figure this one out. Recipe ideas, anyone?
i'm in love with this tunic from Steve Alan. and pretty much everything else SA has to offer...they are the perfect summer dresses to take you anywhere you want to go...

Ecclante Event Design has an incredible bridal shower to get inspiration from. The color: PINK! And best of all, its full of great ideas that can easily be used for bridal showers and other parties. Everything we saw about this shower we loved.
What we loved:
The paper flowers that were strung from strands of peach and white pearls over the tables-so gorgeous. (Want to make the tissue pom poms yourself? Check out our tutorial here.)
The centerpieces- filled apothecary jars with layers of rose petals, hydrangea petals, light pink cut glass, white sand, dried ivory roses andpearls. Easily recreated yet looks fantastic!
Candy favors. Yum!
Cosmos and pink champagne-we love when the food and drink matches the decor. And both of them are so girly-perfect for a girls night out or a bridal shower.
Take a look at this shower. You won't be disappointed. :)

Title: Elvis Presley Live in Birmingham, 29 Dec. 1976, Part 6 of 7
Near one hour of the concert will be uploaded in seven parts: ALL SONGS ARE AUDIO COMPLETE.
Part6
Hurt, The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face, For The Good Times
In the last days of 1976 Elvis Presley started a 5 days tour from 27 to 31 of December.
It began in Wichita, Ks (27), Dallas, Tx (28), Birmingham, Al (29), Atlanta (Ge) (30) and ended in Pittsburgh (Pa), for a new years eve concert!
Now, over 30 years passed those concerts are mythical!
Not only those were, by far, Elvis best tour from 1976, but those concerts showed the King in a Top From, and are ranked among his best 25 concerts from 1971 to 1977.
Ive uploaded already both the Atlanta and Pittsburgh Concerts.
Now Its time for the Birmingham Show, that is as outstanding as the previous!
Elvis is performing for the first time in that City, 8 months prior his dead, but he stays on stage for near 80 minutes and gives a bombastic Show!
The sold out Jefferson Coliseum (18,400 seats) witnesses The King at His Very Best, with a breathtaking performance of old songs and new ones: Trying to get to You, a fantastic song thought all the Tour, My Way (with a fantastic David Briggs on the electric clavinet), You Gave Me a Mountain, Polk Salad Annie (the wildest version ever) or Mystery Train/Tiger Man, are true Show toppers!
But we have a little more here to show you:
Hurt is unique, with its final!
Unchained Melody is superb in its simplicity and passion.
But, for me, the Real Highlights of the Concert are the 7 minutes where the king sings unique renditions of Until its time for you to go and, dedicating it to Ginger Alden, The Most Beautiful Version ever of The First Time Ever I Saw Your face following not his version but Roberta Flacks Version, singing the Last verse (not included in his 1971 single) only with his voice and David Briggs electric Piano! An Orgasmic Performance!
The video image is not that great, but with the soundboard sound this is very nice to see.
I have excluded the intro parts and Hound Dog.
As far as I know, from this fantastic December 1976 tour, this is the last known footage from those concerts.
And uploading this one to all Elvis Presley Fans, in true privilege for me!
Ladies And Gentlemen sit back and enjoy: The King Burning In Birmingham!
