Title: Isabelle's Updos

On Sunday 6th 2010, Izzy [Isabellenaturelle] and I met and collaborated together, making a few video-clips using ketylo and flexi-8 hair clips. The sound is awful, so turn up the volume to maximum in order to hear her voice. I apologise for the sound quality!

This was the first time I saw ketylo hair sticks. Close-up, they look very stylish and I'm thinking of ordering some for use in future videos. Izzy emphasises that whatever you use to tie your hair up, make sure it does not have the potential to damage your hair. Sounds quite obvious, right? Well, you'd be amazed at what people use in their long hair, and then they wonder why they get breakage.

I'm thankful to Izzy for making this video for my viewers. One of the lovely aspects of using internet sites, like Youtube, LHC and other internet-based long-hair communities, is the support element. Personally speaking, I received support from fellow long-hair promoters here on Youtube and various people on different forums. I received, and hopefully gave something back to those people.

I've got a fever

. . .and the only prescription is. . .more beach volleyball!

Seriously, anyone watching the Olympics in high-def? It. Blows. My. Mind. I never knew watching sports could get me so fired-up. My husband is loving it.
Actual competition aside, I totally felt for American beach volleyball star Kerri Walsh when her wedding ring fell off during her opening Olympic match against Japan. I lose everything. No joke, ask anyone I know, everything. Keys, metro cards, don't even ask how many cell phones. I'm so shocked I've never lost my wedding rings. Lucky for Kerri, a team of Olympic venue workers sifted through the sand and used metal detectors to find it. If I ever lose mine, I'm not going to have that kind of help. . .maybe I should resort to what Kerri's done and wrap tape around my ring finger?

But I can't. It's too pretty!

Piece of Cake

When I got married, I didn't have a videographer. Honestly didn't even think about it twice, I mean, I HATE sitting down for an hour or two to watch family movies, and by eliminating a videographer I was freeing up money in the budget that I could spend on more important things. For the most part, I think most wedding videos are too long and cheesy. I've never regretted it. . .that is, until now.
